Tonight, X3O will be facing Devastation for their second match of week five. Is this the end of x3o's dominance?

Devastation has remained one of the top teams in the Source community even after then a good amount of CS teams moved on to CSS and the CGS. Although they were not able to be drafted after an incredible performance at the CGS Combine, they continue to dominate online and LAN with events such as Newegg LanFest 2k7 and Digital Life. Before the season started, Devastation made some roster changes losing Matt "ChEekz" Csikos to The Last Resort and Mike "paradox" Stanowski to Team Pandemic; while adding Andres "Misty" Gunaratne and Carson "classified" Holt from the team formerly known as Gravitas Gaming and Albert "hahN" Hahn from United 5. The team also have one of the best AWPers in the Counter-Strike Source scene; none other then Gary "Funshine" Laurita. Finally, the team is led by Stephen "sasquatcH" Csikos, one of the best if not the best leader in CEVO. With sasquatcH leading this team, no wonder why this team is feared by other teams.

Record x3o (5-4) Record Devastation (7-3)

X3O will have a lot of work going into this match as they will try to beat Devastation. Statistically, X3O should be able to win this match with Devastation losing to the two teams that X3O recently beaten. However, this isn’t math and X3O will still have to face the fact that Devastation is one of the top teams in CS:S. Even though, X3O was able to pull a close win over The Last Resort keeping the spectators in suspense as they won the overtime round. If team X3O looks to continue their winning streak, they will need to work much harder then they did against The Last Resort.
