Team X3O VS. FragD in CEVOp Season 5 CSS Placement Tournament!

Pre-Game Report After last round's huge win over nTense, X3O has a lot of momentum and some built up confidence as they go up against Frag Dominant tonight on Inferno for their spot in the CEVOp Season 5 CSS League. This will be no walk in the park though, as FragD has also come up big against tough teams like Instruments of God and Crucial Connexion. I spoke to X3O team member Ryan "NineSpot" Bell earlier today and he told me:

After a tough first loss in the placement tournament we've taken a very optimistic approach to fight through the lower bracket one match at a time. Although I don't know too much about Frag Dominant, I did have the chance to watch their last match and they look very good. With CGS rules, it's very crucial to start strong early in the match and gain the momentum. I think if we can do that we’ll have a good shot at winning.

The key to success in tonight's match will really have to be the AWPs hitting their initial picks each round. Whether or not X3O will be able to take the air out of FragD early on will really play a crucial part in the victory or loss tonight. The team will have to buckle down in their strats and not let communications break down, especially in tight spots, like when they are outnumbered or retaking a site. As NineSpot stated earlier, the CGS rule set really favors a team that can build off momentum, and that will be important as they go up against this very talented opponent.
