Today I am very excited to announce the expansion of the X3O Winter Classic 2008 event. What was originally announced as a 16 team max local LAN tournament has quickly grown to become the largest North America Counter-Strike 1.6 LAN of 2008. X3O will be opening an additional 8 team slots ONLY. There has been a considerable amount of interest for these slots and more than 8 teams have personally contacted me about wanting to join. These will go very fast, so please make sure you get your team pre-registered and paid as soon as possible. STOP! If you are not already on the confirmed team list, DO NOT PRE-PAY. Until further notice this event is SOLD OUT. Any additional pre-pays will not be refunded.

A note for the above mentioned teams:

• Get your starting five registered for the event.
• Get all players pre-paid because registration rates increase on 12/22/2008.

The format of the tournament will still consist of group play on Saturday, however the number of groups, number of teams in a group, and other tournament format rules may be changed to accomodate the final number of teams attending.
