DOCS Qualifier 4

The fourth and final 2008 Dust-Off Championships Qualifier is here, and teams are ready to fight to the finish. Eleven teams have confirmed their attendance and will be competing for their share of the $1750 Cash Purse, Prizes provided by Dust-Off, Antec, and ZeroSurge, in addition to the last auto-berth into the championship finals.

Due to the amount of teams attending, Day 1 will be comprised of 3 groups, two of 4 teams and one of 3. Two teams from each group will advance into Day 2. In addition there will be two Wild Card teams selected to join Day 2, based off their performance during group play. These teams will be taken from the pool of third place finishers in each group. Group winners are determined first by Matches Won, Heads-Up, and Rounds Won - Rounds Lost. The wild card spot will be awarded to the third place team with the highest score of total rounds won - total rounds lost. All matches in group play will play out their entire 30 rounds.

Additional Information
The bug issue known as "crouch hopping" will officially be allowed during this event; however you can not bind +duck to mwheel. Violating this, or any tournament rule may result in disqualification from the event.

The maps being played in this tournament are: de_Dust2, de_Nuke, de_Train, and de_Inferno.

Day 1 Group A begins at 9:00AM EST. You must have all five players at the center at the designated group start time, or risk forfeiting your first and subsequent matches.

Downloading of drivers or files that are not already on each PC are not allowed during the tournament.

It is assumed that you have read and completely understand the information posted here; before attending this event. Tournament rules are subject to change at the discretion of the tournament staff without prior notice.

Cash prize winners will be awarded via PayPal by July 29th, 2008.

Note: All players MUST bring their own keyboard, mouse, headset, mousepad. NO equipment will be available for RENT or BORROW. Some equipment will be available for PURCHASE from the X3O Pro Shop. This means you chE.

The gaming center will be open to the public after group play is finished on Day 1 & Day 2. Normal gaming rates apply to all participants in the tournament, and seats will be available on a first come first serve basis. The center is scheduled to be open at 7:00PM EST until 2:00AM EST.
