X3O Gaming Center is proud to announce our first ever Gears of War (Xbox 360) Tournament to be held in December 2007

X3O is proud to host our first ever Gears of War Tournament. This tournament will be the first of what we hope to be many GoW tournaments for the Xbox 360. If you are a GoW fan, come out and support us as we work on building the GoW LAN Community. The event will be held December 29th, 2007; and more information about the event format will be released in the days to come.

Registration Deadline:
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007 @ 11:59:59PM EST.
Registration Fees:
Register on or before November 30th, 2007 @ 11:59:59PM EST - $25.00 Per Person (Early Registration)
Register on or before December 16th, 2007 @ 11:59:59PM EST - $30.00 (Pre-Registration)
Register on or before December 25th, 2007 @ 11:59:59PM EST - $40.00 (Late Registration)
Event Format:
2 VS. 2, Round-Robin Group Play, 4 Teams Per Group, Top 2 Teams advance until the final four, 32 Team Max
Day 1 Schedule:

Note: Groups will be seeded randomly for this first event, unless we determine another method to be more appropriate. More information on rules and specific match format will be posted in the next few days.

Event Prize Structure
1st. $600.00 USD + Sponsored Prizes
2nd. $250.00 USD + Sponsored Prizes
3rd + 4th. $75.00 USD Per Team + Sponsored Prizes

Note: The current prize structure is 100% based on the maximum number of teams attending, 32. Prize structure will be affected if 32 teams do not attend. We are still confirming sponsor involvement with this event; sponsored prizes and any addtional cash prizes will be updated as they are confirmed.
