Phenomenon wins the X3O Gears of War Winter 2007 Tournament - fighting back from the Lower Bracket.

The X3O Gears of War Premiere Tournament has finished and as seeded, Phenomenon came out on top. Though there was not the best turn out for our first event, the six teams that competed showed a lot of heart and as X3O we've learned a lot about how to run a better GoW tournament. NickFitz: "The event was a success in my opinion. Even though the tournament was small; all of the players that attended were excited to be there and supportive of our efforts. Even in this small event, we learned a lot about how to run a successful Gears of War tournament – and what to change for the better in the future. The matches themselves were exciting to watch, and were packed with action. Though this wasn’t the full fledged 4v4 style tournament that the MLG veterans are used to, they played with enthusiasm and made helpful suggestions. I am very excited about hosting more events with Gears of Wars and other console games in 2008.”
