For the first time in a long time, GotFrag has finally announced their very own event for the Counter-Strike 1.6 community. The GotFrag Revival Tour was recently announced to, well, to revive Counter-Strike 1.6 basically, though the CS Scene was never really dead. The GotFrag Revival Tour is an online tournament series dedicated entirely to bringing live Counter-Strike 1.6 action to the community held over three weekends.

The GotFrag Revival Tour was recently announced to, well, to revive Counter-Strike 1.6 basically, though the CS Scene was never really dead. The GotFrag Revival Tour is an online tournament series dedicated entirely to bringing live Counter-Strike 1.6 action to the community held over three weekends. The GotFrag Revival Tour will feature the best of the best teams invited by yours truly, GotFrag, along with open registration and “community selected” teams to fill in the remaining spots. As always, the community can expect great exclusive coverage from GotFrag with live scores, HLTV, insane statistics, and their very own GotFrag TV. All of this action will culminate in an OPEN Grand Finals event held on a last weekend of the series, followed by a community oriented All-Star game - yes, an All-Star game.

Just a few days ago, they announced their invited teams for the first GotFrag Revival Tour. The teams are the following: EG.USA, Green Berets, NoPression, EG.Canada, Mug N Mouse, Dynamo, Eximius, MoB Gaming, and our very own X3O 1.6 team.

With the recent news of GotFrag Revival Tour, X3O has been preparing and practicing every second they can. After winning over EG.USA and Stacked Like Pancakes, they went through a humiliating defeat against Eximius Sports. However, they were able to bounce back and secure a win against NightMare Online. With only three matches left, they will need to play it safe to maintain their number one spot in CEVO. And with GotFrag Revival Tour, CEVO Playoffs, and the upcoming ESWC USA Qualifiers, they will need to take things seriously from this point on.

The first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament takes place April 26th-27th and will host sixteen five player CS 1.6 teams. Stay tuned for more exclusive coverage on our very own X3O 1.6 team.
