In the second show of CGS Live dedicated to the Pro-Am, the Counter-Strike 1.6 Finals will be broadcast live at 9:45 PM Eastern Time, 6:45 PM Pacific, here on thecgs.com. You can watch as the Los Angeles Complexity take on x3o, also known as Paragon of Virtue in the Pro-Am, for the 1.6 championship.

Complexity is looking to cap a storybook season after going 8-0 in the regular season and winning the upper bracket in the playoffs. In the grand finals they’ll meet up with the lower bracket champions, x3o, who came back from an early forfeit loss in the playoffs to defeat all comers. Now there’s only one step left for both teams as the whole season has come down to the last best-of-three series of matches, and only one of them can get there.

Our Counter-Strike 1.6 squad joined the Championship Gaming Series' Pro-Am league prior to being our official Counter-Strike team. Their previous name/organization was Paragon of Virtue or POV, which is why they will appear as that name in the following article.

X3O.CS/Paragon of Virtue (as seen in the bracket image below) had scheduling issues in the first round, which got the team a forfeit loss to nnu. However as a top contender all throughout the regular CGS Pro-Am season and the playoffs, they have rebounded by running over teams in the Lower Bracket with 6 straight wins over some of America's top amateur teams such as GB and MaveN. But they aren't finished yet. They look to play a strong Team To Beat team for the LB Final and in turn extend that win streak to 7.
