X3O.CS (8-0) has received their 8th win via forfeit over we0 (2-6) in Week 4.2 being one of the few teams to finish the regular ESEA League season undefeated. As of the time of this posting, it looks like the team will either be seeded first or second in the playoffs. With the team's 7th straight win and still undefeated, X3O continues their complete domination of the league's Central Delta Group. From looking at the standings, X3O will advance into the playoffs without any problems. Although the playoff format is unknown at the moment, stay tuned as it will be updated here at X3O-Gaming.com as soon as it is announced!

It has been awhile since we got to see news from our Counter-Strike 1.6 team, let alone our other divisions. Currently, X3O.CS is participating in several leagues right now including one recently started and ran by the well known pug system and community, ESEA. With that league gaining popularity, most fans almost forget about CEVO and its Atomic Theory tournament even though many known teams in the U.S. are currently participating in it such as our very own X3O. The team did fairly well up until (all wins in group play and 2 in bracket play) a few nights ago with their Semi-Finals match-up against West Coast team, Backfire (with n0thing). X3O fell fairly easily to Backfire, on de_Tuscan with the final score being 8-16 in favor of Backfire. The results from the bracket play matches were as follows:

Round 8 (de_Dust2) - X3O > plugNplay (16-11)
Round 9 (de_Nuke) - X3O > SLP (16-14)
Round 10 (de_Tuscan) - X3O < Backfire (8-16)

X3O.CS will need to beat zeroFaith to take 3rd. - Lycosa's or DeathAdder's guys? :P

In addition to competing in CEVO's tournament, our Counter-Strike 1.6 squad has joined the newest of all Counter-Strike leagues, the ESEA League (run by ESEA otherwise known as E-Sports Entertainment Association - yep, they're also the same people that run ESS [E-Sports Services], which run ESL [Electronic Sports League] as well as many other tournaments around the world :P). Anyway, the team has been performing quite well against the lower tier amateur teams of North America and haven't ran into a roadblock yet like they did in CEVO's Atomic Theory tournament against Backfire. Regarding how ESEA League is setup, there are two matches per week for each team, the results below are as of 12/12/08:
