Week 2 of CEVO Professional Season 9 features X3O.CSS against ZOLTAN and Absolution . The backdrop for both matches will be gold-standard of the Counter Strike series, de_dust2 and will display the raw talent of individual skill between the teams. This week's first match is against the relatively unknown ZOLTAN, who made their entrance into the CEVO Professional Season by way of another team's misfortune (+}+}+}). Due to Distinct 5 not paying their entry fees on time before the season started, they were forced to forfeit their spot, and ZOLTAN (who finished one slot short of qualifying) now occupies that slot and are proving their worth thus far with a solid 1-1 record. The latter of the week will surely be the best matchup thus far in the season, with the experienced lineup of Absolution clicking on all cylinders and an almost revitalized Steve “sasquatch” Cskios leading the charge. After picking up a 16-3 win against Legacy last week, Absolution is looking to continue their good fortune thus far against an overtime ridden X3O squad. However, a lot of time has gone this week towards getting everyone on the same page for X3O.CSS, and they are definitely going into this match with more confidence and a prepared state of mind for the upcoming matches on de_dust2.
