X3O Gaming Center is proud to release updated information regarding the X3O Winter Classic 2008. Many of you have been anxiously awaiting the tournament seeds, format and additional rules. The wait is now over. All players participating in this event MUST read the following post in its entirety. Today I am very excited to announce the expansion of the X3O Winter Classic 2008 event. What was originally announced as a 16 team max local LAN tournament has quickly grown to become the largest North America Counter-Strike 1.6 LAN of 2008. X3O will be opening an additional 8 team slots ONLY. There has been a considerable amount of interest for these slots and more than 8 teams have personally contacted me about wanting to join. These will go very fast, so please make sure you get your team pre-registered and paid as soon as possible.

Come spend this holiday season with X3O at our Holiday LockIN 2008. This December 20th, 2008 come in for 12 hours of non-stop gaming and mini-tournaments in a ton of games including Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4, WarCraft III: DotA and of Guitar Hero World Tour.
Gamers will check in at 9:00PM and be assigned a station for the evening. At that time they will also fill out the Your Choice Tournament Form, that allows gamers to choose which games they want to compete in for the evening. The top 5 games chosen will be played as official tournament titles...

Over the past few months we have seen the demand for a winter tournament grow, and we are proud to be in a position to fill that void.
