X3O.CSS in CEVO-P S9 Week 6

Posted By: 20x3 | On December 21, 2009 - 6:06pm |

Happy Holidays! Some holiday counter-forces will be taking place this evening and later this week (Who else thinks that Santa hats should be added to the head models like tf2?) between USA X3O.CSS and USA Cyber Revolution followed up by USA ZOLTAN later this week on the always unpredictable de_russka. The only loss in both ESEA and CEVO this season has come courtesy of USA Cyber Revolution on de_dust2 by a score of 16-6, however things have changed quite a bit since the last time we saw USA Cyber Revolution in action against USA X3O.CSS. The swap out of a few players here and there has now pieced in USA Adam "xperience" Leonard to the mix. On the other hand, USA ZOLTAN has had a pretty stable lineup throughout this season - Click "Read more" below to continue reading...

X3O.CSS in ESEA Invite S5 Week 2

Posted By: 20x3 | On December 16, 2009 - 12:59am |

In the second week of ESEA Invite Season 5 features a comeback of sorts for USA X3O.CSS after their stunning loss against USA Cyber Revolution last week on de_dust2. This week, USA X3O.CSS goes up against the newest acquisition to the USA 50 Caliber brand in CANADA Second Nature, and close out the week against USA Blight Gaming in what is sure to be one of the better matches thus far in ESEA Season Five. On Monday night this week will kick off with the map being de_contra. Known for it’s unpredictable terrorist side, and long choke-point heavy ct rotations, this map will truly test team’s defensive skills and attack timings. Earlier this week I caught up with USA Justin "Sunman" Summy to get his thoughts on contra, and what approach X3O will be taking this week - Click "Read more" below to continue reading...

X3O.CSS in CEVO-P S9 Week 5

Posted By: 20x3 | On December 14, 2009 - 11:31pm |

Tonight marks the return of USA X3O.CSS to CEVO Professional Season 9 after taking almost a week off courtesy of a forfeit win from USA High Rollers Gaming and an early scheduled blowout of a match against USA Legacy Sports. This time around both matches are scheduled, and X3O is looking to continue their dominance in CEVO and continue to make their run to lock up the first playoff slot. The first match this week is against a struggling USA Team Pandemic, who has not been able to find their groove in both CEVO and ESEA, which is reflective of their sub five-hundred records. However, they have acquired former FEVER talent, USA Lloyd Shaffer in replace of USA Mike "Paradox" Stanowski and are looking to rebound from their lackluster start. The second matchup this week is versus CANADA Crucial Connexion who X3O faced off against in the first match of the season (Hooray for flipping the schedule!), and walked away with an overtime victory on de_inferno - Click "Read more" below to continue reading...

X3O.CSS in ESEA Invite S5 Week 1

Posted By: 20x3 | On December 7, 2009 - 9:25pm |

ESEA Season 5 kicks off tonight, as USA X3O.CSS takes on USA Frag Dominant and USA Cyber Revolution on de_dust2. As the defending champions of ESEA, USA X3O.CSS has put a lot of their focus this week into cleaning up their dust2 setup rather than solely focusing on de_scorch for CEVO Professional. I had the chance to talk to CANADA Kevin “Legend” Binette earlier this week to gather his thoughts on defending the title of ESEA Invite rather than being the runner-ups and going for the gold - Click "Read more" below to continue reading...

X3O.CSS in CEVO-P S9 Week 3

Week three already?!?! Regardless of the season rolling on, USA X3O.CSS plays both of its matches this week on the brand new CEVO map entitled, de_scorch. Thus far the map has gotten mixed reviews from the community due to its odd A bombsite and awkward use of height in different areas. When playing the map this week in a couple of random pugs, I have to say I enjoyed having a bit of an advantage being able to rush upper A and have moderate success every round (pending spawn location). However, I’m just a n00b, so to get a better feel of how the map plays, I asked CANADA Keven “AZK” Lariviere about how he felt while playing the newest addition to the CEVO map rotation - Click "Read more" below to continue reading...
