Today, the E-Sports World Cup (ESWC) announced their candidates list for the 2008 ESWC Masters of Paris event to be held on July 4th-6th, 2008. This invitational event will feature the best players from around the world in Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike 1.6 Female, Quake III Arena, WarCraft III TFT, Dota, and TrackMania Nations. Team x3o was announced as the only potential representative from the United States.

The Cyber Evolution (CEVO) is the country's most prestigious online gaming league. Their professional division is home to the best gamers in the U.S. that battle it out for supremacy. GotFrag eSports recently sat down with our very own Counter-Strike 1.6 player Ben Hui. The interview features some pretty interesting information from what happened with his time playing Counter-Strike Source and experiences about the first CGS Combine and Draft. In additional, there is of course information brought up related to the X3O Counter-Strike 1.6 team and how it is doing. Although it's a fairly short interview, it is definitely worth a look!

For the first time in a long time, GotFrag has finally announced their very own event for the Counter-Strike 1.6 community. The GotFrag Revival Tour was recently announced to, well, to revive Counter-Strike 1.6 basically, though the CS Scene was never really dead. The GotFrag Revival Tour is an online tournament series dedicated entirely to bringing live Counter-Strike 1.6 action to the community held over three weekends...
