Following a nailbiter overtime victory over Gravitas in the Consolation Finals earlier today, X3O will be rewarded with a task of playing MiBR in the Grand Finals tomorrow. As X3O came from the Lower Bracket, they will need to win 2 maps in order to win while MiBR will only need 1 victory to take home $25,000 and of course the coveted World Finals slot (Note: MiBR, X3O and Gravitas have all received invites to the ESL World Finals in March '09 because all 3 teams placed in the top 3 at this Continental Finals event). Nonetheless get ready for a fight to the finish between Americas' (both North and South) top 2 teams!

Saturday, November 22 - Day Two:

After a win over MoB, X3O.CS will move on to face off against Upper Bracket Finals loser, Gravitas in the Lower Bracket/Consolation Finals. The winner of this match will play MiBR in the Grand Finals tomorrow.

Following their close loss to Gravitas (13-16 on Train), X3O.CS is now paired up with MoB for the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals. The winner of this match will face off against Gravitas for the Lower Bracket Finals later tonight (that winner will play MiBR in the Grand Finals tomorrow).

X3O.CS takes the second advancing spot in Group B behind MiBR and is scheduled to play Gravitas tomorrow at 12:00 PM PST in bracket play!

Note: From now on, it is double elimination bracket play in a best of 1 format.

Team X3O is in Group B of the ESL Continental Finals Americas with other teams such as Brazilian powerhouse MiBR as well as fellow American teams zEx and TRP.

Last night EG.ca told us that they will not attend at the Continental Finals Americas in Philadelphia. They gave no informations about the reasons, just cancelled the participation.

We will announce the replacement for EG.ca soon and maybe it will be a big surprise. Stay tuned!

Team x3o Counter-Strike 1.6 is ready for the ESL Continental Finals America in Philadelphia, PA. The American ESL event is planned to be held from November 21st to 23rd. The following was taken directly from esl-world.net.

In addition to our very own CS squad, some American powerhouses (both North and South America) will also be in attendence with teams such as MiBR and Gravitas, both recent WCG representives for their countries, respectively. The following five teams have been invited and have confirmed attendance for ESL Continental Finals Americas.

We have the winners and runner-ups for both groups already qualified as well as a team that performed very well during our Global Challenges and therefor get an invite as they were unable to take part of the online Main Round.
