UPDATE: The LA compLexity have beaten X3O.CSS (13-12) in OT.

This week X3O.CSS sits in a position where they are looking to bring themselves to a positive record in CEVO-P S7. Opening up the season with two wins and two losses, the team is looking to find some consistency in their results, as well as their roster. As you may have noticed, X3O announced prior to the season that Kevin “Legend” Binette and Brandon “DirtySecreT” Smith would be joining the ranks of the team. Apparently these players were not apart of the long-term plan and it appears that Mason Dickens will be accommodating CSS back into his daily routine and Ryan “phamtastik” Pham, formerly of the SF Optx and the Zomblerz will be filling out the starting-five. (Expect an official announcement and more information on the X3O.CSS roster in the coming days.)

In the first match of the third week, the team will be taking on the undefeated CGS franchise the LA compLexity. The dominance compLexity showed in their early days of Source was a wake-up call to all of the CSS community that their transition was going smoothly. Winning the CGS World Finals during the leagues first season, coL’s dedication & rigorous practice schedule was looking to be too much for the other terms. Although, after some inconsistent results in the last CGS season (some of which cost the franchise key matches) – it was very apparent that the LA based franchise was not without its faults.

CompLexity is coming off of a summer in which they were seen competing in both competitive CS 1.6 and competitive CSS. It has been noted on numerous occasions that the CS team will always have CS:Source as their main priority; and I am sure they hope their four game CEVO win-streak continues on de_russka.
