The upper bracket final of CEVO Professional Season 8's Playoffs, pits our very own X3O.CSS against the #1 seeded Vitriolic in a best of three series. With the recent announcement of Vitriolic sending their new North American CS:S squad overseas for the upcoming i38 LAN, this next match will be their biggest test thus far. After losing only one match all season, Vitriolic came up against the team that gave them that one loss in the regular season, Team Dynamic. Yet with timely play from Lloyd Shaffer and Sam "DaZeD" Marine Vitriolic came away with the easy victory by 2 maps to 0. The same can be said for X3O.CSS, who handled the Zomblerzin similar fashion, but now these two teams will meet to see who gets to punch their card early into the Grand Finals.
