x3o GameGune

X3O Professional Gaming is proud to announce that Team X3O Counter-Strike 1.6 will be attending the GameGune 2008 international event in Bilbao, Spain. This will be the first international event for the team in 2008, and we are very excited about showing the world that the U.S. is ready to compete. Though some of the best teams in the world will be attending other events, there is going to be some tough competition ahead of us.

The team will be departing for Spain on July 22nd, 2008 and will either begin playing their first matches on the 24th or 25th, depending on the seeds and groups. We are expecting those to be announced over the next few days.

When asked how he felt about the upcoming event, Matt "PaTyoJoN" Iantosca say, "Gamegune should be a really fun event, its always nice to play some new teams that aren't from the USA. Unfortunately we haven't been able to prepare as much as we like, but we are still putting in a good amount of practice and have high hopes of finishing in the top 3."

The team list is impressive, however several teams including MYM, fnatic, emulate, and SK-Gaming will not be attending for a variety of reason including the 2008 e-Stars event that is on the same weekend.

As of 07/11/2008 the teams attending are:
