X3O Icel0re’s team, Bananas in Pajamas, is in the finals of the first True Carnage CTF Draft League.
X3O Icel0re, the captain of Bananas in Pajamas, has a very impressive history so far in this game, Quake 4 with some notable achievements. Last year, he participated in several WSVG events enough to make 13th place in tour points in the WSVG 2007 World Tour. He has also taken his destruction online as he took first place in the Quake4Life Capture the Flag Tourney. Most recently, he joined this league called True Carnage where there he dominated for two straight seasons. He and his team were crowned Champions for the first two seasons. From there, he entered the True Carnage CTF Draft League where he was chosen to be a captain for a team he called Bananas in Pajamas. He formed his team consisting of many talented players including magnum, his neighbor and LAN partner.
The team entered the league with confidence but it wouldn’t be enough as they were sent into the lower bracket in round two. There in the lower bracket, they rampaged through any team that dared challenge them. With great team play and consistent practices, the team now faces We Are Professionals in the finals. The team We Are Professionals consists of very talented players including a young skilled flag runner named smallz and two players from Icel0re’s old championship team, RAGE, gizermoney and wn. With a great lineup, Bananas in Pajamas will have a lot to deal with coming into this match.
In the finals, the team will play best two out of three. And since Icel0re’s team was sent to the lower bracket, Bananas in Pajamas needs to win one more set of a best two out of three format in order to win and claim the title of Champions. The following maps that can be chosen from are: ruiner, heartless, death before dishonor, speedtrap b, mind the gap, courtyard solution, camper crossings, Japanese castles, shining force, and spider crossings.

It's pretty cool to be competing at a high level with a real life friend. Good luck with this league and in the upcoming QuakeCon competition.
