X3O Emerging Technologies and X3O Professional Gaming are proud to announce the addition of Activision’s Call of Duty 4 (CoD 4) to our professional gaming divisions. Released in late 2007, CoD4 has quickly become one of the fastest growing competitive gaming titles in the United States and abroad. With several key LAN competitions coming up, X3O is now ready to officially support this community and title.

X3O has been talking to a variety of professional CoD 4 teams and are happy to have found some of the country’s best players to call X3O their home. Please help me welcome the former Power House Gaming to X3O as our Team X3O CoD 4 Division. Led by Robert “griM__” Koster, Power House Gaming has quickly become one of the strongest teams in the country, currently ranked in the top 6 by www.gotfrag.com. When asked about joining X3O, Rob said, “We, team PHG, have always been one of the two most stable teams in the CoD competitive scene. It’s an honor for us to finally join a stable, known franchise, that will not only compliment our way of being, but also secure our stability in the future.”

Nick Fitzsimmons, Vice President of Operations for X3O Emerging Technologies and Managing Director of X3O Professional Gaming is looking forward to the new division, “We are very excited about expanding to CoD 4. There is a very strong community around the game, and as more tournaments are being planned – a great opportunity to increase our exposure with a new gaming audience.”

The team will be preparing for the upcoming NERV LAN event that is scheduled to take place June 21st-22nd, 2008 in Pennsylvania, USA. Most of the top teams in the country will be converging there to battle for the title of #1 team in the country. Most recently Power House Gaming won the CAL-Main online league’s inaugural season and competed in CEVO-Professional Season 1. They are also competing in the CEVO OCZ Tournament with a 2-0 record in their group.
