Profile Biography

Hi, my name is James "jame^s" O'Connor. I recently finished my five year term in the Marine Corps, spending 7 months in Iraq during "Iraq freedom".

I've been playing competitively for about 5 years now. I have been the in game leader for almost every team I've been on. I have lead 3 teams to invite in the shortest time possible GB, BiO, and GB. It only took me 1 season of m/p to get these teams to that level.

People know me best for turning mediocre players with little experience, into amazing players in a short amount of time. I read people very well and understand how to pull hidden talent out of them.

I am the Leader (in game and out) for rS (formerly [GB]). I have taken lessons from the top in game leaders to learn the tools they use to consistently make there teams competitive no matter who they recruit (xeqtr, goodfella, mangiacapra, potti, vesslan, hare)

Whether your a player trying to improve your game or an in game leader wanting to figure out the best way to lead your team in game and out, I know I can help you.

****PLEASE HAVE YOUR QUESTIONS READY SO THAT WE CAN MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME****

That said, the time that you buy is yours. We can talk about whatever you like.

For individual lessons please have a deathmatch demo and a scrim or match demo zipped and uploaded prior to our lesson if you can. You can upload it easily to www.rapidshare.de and then paste me the link.

Individually I can help you with:

Getting known and getting on a good team - I moved up faster than anyone I know and I did it the right way. I will explain how to market yourself so that you can do the same. I can help you find a team thats going places.

Personal Setup - Rarely does anyone really put much thought into how they should sit while playing cs and how to move the mouse across the pad. I know I didn't until about a year ago. I had never been told anything so I just did what felt comfortable. THIS WAS TOTALLY WRONG. After I was shown the correct way by some invite players at CPL who felt bad for me, my game improved dramatically. If I was uniformed chances are you could be doing something counter productive also.

Setup - Going over settings on your computer, mouse, and mouse pad so that you can feel comfortable on LAN.

Aim - Specific tricks on how to improve your long range and short range rifles.

Nades - specific nade tricks, angles and special things to do with smokes.

Money Management- tips on how to manage your money. A lot of things are overlooked such as "when to buy new amour" or "how much ammo to buy". Anything to help you save for those later rounds.

Flashes- when to use each one, flashbangs stall for rotation, keep opponents from attacking you all at once. I can show you how I force the T's to attack 1 by 1.

Rotation - How to rotate to help your team. "When is it your responsibility to help your teammate even it risks your life"

Pistols - specific tricks for the usp and glock that will enhance your performance.

When to save out - when to go for the clutch or save out.

Team

Ingame leaders have the ability to win games by themselves. An average team can become very dangerous under experienced leadership. I picked the brains of the top ingame leaders in the world in an attempt to become the best. With all the information collected, I can change the way you view the game. You will lead your team to the finals of your current division in your league.

How to practice - How to organize your teams practices to make the most out of the limited time you have together. I'll explain long term memory retrieval clues you can give your team to help remember strats. I'll help make a small strat binder to help refresh your memory when you reach a blank.

What to practice - There is an easy process of how to go through what your team needs to able to do in game during a match. GB doesnt practice as much as everyone thinks we do, we just make the most of our time.

Communication - How to get your team to communicate your ideas fast and be understood w/ terminology.

Money management - how to count your opponents money and how to manage your own teams money.

Understanding of Pistol Rounds - there are many styles of pistol rounds, I'll give you the reasons when and why to use each style.

Anti Eco Setups - T's got the bomb down 1st round? How to avoid losing vs a deagle + armor or split AK buys.

What to do if you eco - How to drop your team together to make the most of the save round.

Aggressive vs Passive - when to push and when to play passive. There are specific times in a game when you can read your opponents and push. I will explain when and why I call certain passive setups or aggressive pushes.

Making the most of freezetime - How to stop arguments and extract information for what to do the next round.

Special tricks for teamplay at lans - After going to as many lans as I have you learn some tricks to help stop the other teams momentum and intimidate the other team.

Pistol strats - making pistol rounds boost your team cash whether you win or lose that round. You will break their money; it's just a question on when and how.
