X3O announces final CSS roster change. Welcome Mason "mason" Dickens to x3o CSS.

X3O Professional Gaming is proud to announce the addition of our final new member to the Counter-Strike Source gaming division. Mason "mason" Dickens will be joining X3O full time, and participating in future online and LAN events. Mason played a key roll in our victories this past Sunday, and we are very excited about having him join the team.

Mason is joining X3O after competing at both the CGS Combine and this past Winter CPL 2007. When asked about how he got started gaming, and what he has been up to the past year, Mason replied:

"Hey, my name is Mason Dickens. I first started getting into gaming when I was about 13. I played a game called Rogue Spear by Tom Clancy with my brother. It was a small community compared to Counter-Strike. We didn't play in any type of leagues where we had scheduled matches or anything, we played in a thing called a Ladder. My brother switched to Counter-Strike about a year before I did, I personally hated the game. I went a LAN party with him and some friends and we all were playing aztec on LAN and I really started to enjoy the game and atmosphere. I decided to make the switch for good and I have never played anything but CS.

For the past year some of you really haven't seen me around as much. After playing with verGe for awhile in CEVO and going to the CGS combine, we all kind of went our separate ways. I ended up going back to 1.6 with local friends to just have a good time and not really play competitively. We ended up attending Winter CPL 07 which ended up being a huge disappointment with only 12 teams showing up. Pretty much continued to play with my local buddies after that up until this point. I received a message to play with x3o and I jumped on it. Now I am very excited to be back in source and it feels good to be playing with some fellow 1.6 players."

Mason will be playing in tonight's match, along side Todd. Erik played for Todd last Sunday due to internet issues; which are expected to be resolved before the match. Erik may still play in future CEVO matches, as we look to re-stabilize the roster. The Team X3O CSS Roster now is:
